Fall class schedule

The new class schedule is out; email or stop in for your copy. Wednesday night is an earflap hat class that is perfect for beginners. Thursday night will be the Fiesta mobius. Hope to see you.

JoJo Land

Another new yarn in the store is JoJo land. This comes in 3 weights - lace weight, dk and worsted. These are slowly striping yarns in great color combos. There is also a cashmere and silk/cashmere blend. Start thinking about those gifts that need to be made.

Spud & Chloe

We have begun the annual migration on fall yarn into the store. Spud & Chloe is one of the first to arrive. These are yarns supplied by Blue Sky Alpacas. The colors are great, it comes in 3 weights and they are machine washable. We also have patterns for your browsing to match the yarn.

Along with Spud & Chloe we have also increased our Blue Sky collection. This yarn is so soft.

End of Summer Sidewalk Sale

Time to make room for new fall yarns. Saturday, August 14 from noon to 5:30 will have select yarns out on the "sidewalk". Markdowns up to 35%. Stock up for all those fall projects.

New Plymouth Yarn

The newest shipment of Plymouth yarn has arrived. We have everything from a fun cotton to a recycled cashmere. We also have the patterns to go with the yarn. Come find a project.

Square Needles

We now carry square needles from Kollage. I've tried both the straights and double points and love them. I'm able to maintain my gage but my grip seams to loosen a little. They are metal so those of you that are rough on your smaller wooden needles might want to give these a try.

Chemo Caps

On Monday nights from June 21 until July 19 we will be knitting and crocheting chemo caps for the American Cancer Society. Any caps made can be donated to the local Relay for Life event that happens July 24. They will sell or auction them for the cause.

I'll provide the patterns and the space you provide the hooks, needles and yarn. Come in from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

We have a ton of single sheet patterns for sale. If you don't want to purchase a complete book just browse through our many pattern binders and I'm sure you'll find something you like. These are just a sampling of the most recent additions.

Books, books, books

We have a HUGE selection of books! These are just a few of the new books arriving weekly. We have reference books, magazines and pattern books too. Not just knitting but crochet, felting, needlework, etc.

Mango Moon

What a fun company! We met these ladies at TNNA. Sale of their yarn helps support women's groups in Indonesia and Nepal.

We now carry recycled silk yarn and rag silk. The mohair and pre-strung bead and stone chip yarn will be featured in an upcoming class.

Plymouth Yarn

Lots of new Plymouth yarn has arrived. I'll be planning a cowl class with the baby alpaca and a beanie class with the merino. Stay tuned.

Berocco's Winter Yarn

The Blackstone Tweed is here along with Lustra. These are great new yarns from Berocco. We have the pattern books too! This could be the start of a great project.

New Yarn!!

This year I went to TNNA (The National Needle Art) show in Long Beach. It was very cool, over 800 vendors. Needless to say we have lots of new stuff coming to the store. Above is just a sampling of the new fiber for spinning. Stay tuned for more info.
